Member terms
Last updated: 11 October 2026 (version 2026-10-11). Draft: under legal review.
These terms apply when you ("you") use the PIF app, provided by Partner in Fitness ("PIF", "we"), to join and use a gym, studio, pool, club or similar facility ("your gym") that runs on PIF. Your gym's own membership rules, prices and house rules also apply between you and your gym.
1. One PIF account, many gyms
- Your PIF account is your email address. You sign in with one-time codes sent to it, or passkeys. Keep access to your email secure.
- You can belong to several gyms with the same account and switch between them in the app. Each gym only sees what you share with that gym.
- Give accurate details when you join a gym (your name and phone number).
2. Joining a gym and sharing your details with it
- When you join a gym in the app, you agree that PIF shares with that gym your name, email address, phone number, the memberships you buy, your class bookings and your visits (door check-ins).
- Your gym is the data controller for this information and uses it to run your membership. PIF processes it on your gym's behalf, as described in our privacy notice, and in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
- Your gym may need to check your identity (for example an ID at the front desk) before you can use the door.
3. Memberships and payments
- Memberships, prices, refunds and access times are set by your gym. Payments go to your gym's own accounts; PIF does not hold your money.
- Your door pass only works while you have a valid membership at that gym.
4. Using the app fairly
Don't share your door pass, try to access another person's account or another gym's data, or use the app to break the law. Your gym or PIF may suspend your access if you do.
5. Leaving
You can ask your gym to end your membership, and ask us to close your PIF account at support@partnerinfitness.com. Gyms keep the records they must keep by law (for example receipts).
6. Changes
If we change these terms, we post the new version here and the app asks you to accept it before you join another gym. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
